Insert DC Power onto “Dry” Pairs
The 2 Wire / 4 Wire Data Power Coupler inserts DC power onto “Dry” pairs used in 2-Wire SCADA service and Audio Tone Protective Relaying lines in order to power up to two (2) 2-Wire Data CO Cards or one (1) 4-Wire Data CO Card via a 24~54 VDC supply.
The card has a convenient input power LED to indicate that the card is energized. The card is mounted via guide rails into any compatible RLH card housing. There are several wall, rack, and DIN mount housings available for the cards.
Compatibility
- Up to two (2) 2-Wire Data Cards
- Up to one (1) 4-Wire Data Card
Features
- Hardened to operate in -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to +158°F)
- Requires a 24~54VDC remote power source
- Provides line power to RLH 2-Wire and 4-Wire data fiber link cards
- 2-Wire or 4-Wire – Enable DIP switch to type of service
- Must be used outside the zone of GPR or at the RDL
- Solar Power Source used with a 2-Wire PCB within the zone of GPR
- Must be located within 100 Ohms of the PCB
- Insert CO Battery onto one (1) 4-Wire or two (2) 2-Wire systems
- Made in USA
