Small, Semi-Buried Pedestal with Plywood Backboard and Hex Head Self-Locking System
The RLH Type 02 semi-buried pedestal is a compact, all-dielectric enclosure with a small footprint designed for installation of fiber optic cable or other telecommunications equipment which requires a wooden backboard.
It features a vented lift-off cover and corrugated channel base. The lift-off cover allows full access to internal working area, and has a self-latching lock that is accessed using a hex style Can Wrench. A fire treated plywood backboard is preinstalled for mounting equipment or securing splicing and cable management.
The compact base is approximately W17.5″ x D17″, and the pedestal stands approximately 36″ tall when installed. The base provides ample room for entry of multiple large cables, including conduit. The open bottom entry allows technicians to easily slide the base over existing cable applications. No mounting stakes or platforms are required.
Have a special requirement not listed? RLH Pedestal Telco Units may now be customized for your particular application through our factory modification program. There are no minimum orders for this service.
